Callahan Ranch

Easy Access to Outdoor Recreation
The Callahan Ranch area offers access to a variety of outdoor activities including the Phillip and Annie Callahan Park, a beautiful 25-acre park situated at the south end of Callahan Road off of the Mt. Rose Highway. The Galena Creek Trail starts at the north end of this park and runs along the creek through Montreaux Golf & Country Club, ending at Joy Lake Road. Also adjacent to the park is the historic Galena Creek Schoolhouse which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.
