Galena Terrace Loop
Right off of Great Falls Loop in the Rolling Hills at Galena Terrace neighborhood, you will find the Galena Terrace Loop trailhead. This moderate, three-mile trail is great for hikers and bikers. A year-round trail has an elevation gain of 859 feet and takes you in a loop up into the hill behind the Rolling Hills at Galena Terrace neighborhood.
Whites Creek Park
Just across Mount Rose Highway is the six-acre park, Whites Creek Park. The park offers a multi-purpose playing field, a children's playground area, picnic areas, and benches. The park is popular with families and outdoor enthusiasts and many youth sports organizations utilize the large field for practice.
Lower Whites Creek Trail
Located just off of Whites Creek Park, this moderate trail is 6.7 miles round trip and winds up Whites Creek through a peaceful forest setting. The trail is popular with hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bikers. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on a leash.
