Galena Creek Regional Park
This park year-round offers a wide range of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. Popular for hiking in the summer, the many trails follow the Sierra Mountains along the Galena, Jones, and White's Creeks. In the winter, visitors enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding. The park also offers Campfire programs, ranger-led hikes, fishing at Marilyn's Pond, youth and family programs, youth summer camp programs, and activities and exhibits in the Galena Creek Visitor Center.
Brown’s Creek Loop Trail
Brown's Creek Loop Trail is a 4.6-mile popular loop trail located that can be accessed off of Joy Lake Road in Galena Forest Estates. This moderate trail is open to hikers, bikers, and horseback riders, and is dog friendly.
